The short version

  • No account and no usage tracking. We don't know which layout you picked or when you look at the sign.
  • Your settings live on the board, not with us: your WiFi details, stops, walk times and Home Assistant login.
  • The board only talks to us to do its job: fetch arrivals, check for updates and report why it restarted.

What the board sends to us

  • Arrival requests. To show arrivals, the board asks our arrivals service for the stops you've chosen, every 15 seconds. That service gets the times from the transit agencies' public feeds. [Confirm what identifies the board in these requests, and how long request logs are kept.]
  • Update checks. Every few minutes the board checks for a new firmware version. [Confirm what the check includes, for example current version and serial number.]
  • Restart reason. Once each time it starts up, the board reports why it last restarted, so we can spot stability problems.

That's all. The board doesn't send what's on the screen, how it's used, or anything about other devices on your network.

What stays on your network

The setup page, the local API and the Home Assistant connection all run between the board and your own devices. None of it passes through us.

The setup page has no password, so anyone on your home network can open it.

This website and your orders

  • Contact. If you write to us, we use your name, email and message only to reply.
  • Orders. Checkout is handled by Stripe, which processes your card details; we never see them. [Confirm what we keep from each order, such as name, shipping address and email.]
  • Analytics. [None, or which privacy-friendly tool and what it records.]

Sharing, keeping and deleting

We don't sell your data or share it for advertising. [List any service providers, for example hosting, email and payments.]

How long we keep it: [retention periods].

Want something deleted? Email [email protected] and we'll take care of it.
